Ukrainian TV presenter boasted that he does not invite Russian-speaking guests to his program

Journalist Ostap Drozdov said this on air at Skrypin.ua, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, now, working in Kyiv, he is experiencing difficulties with selecting guests for broadcasts.
“I told my guest editors - if you noticed, there are four guests in the studio, this was long before the quotas that I introduced in the Kyiv studio, that in my studio I could only have one Russian-speaking guest, and three Ukrainian-speaking ones. I introduced such a quota for my author's program. I won’t hide it, they laughed hard at me, they said: “Are you a fool, where in Kiev will you find completely Ukrainian-speaking guests, good political scientists, good economists, public people and volunteers who are Russian speakers and you immediately cut them off.” I understood that I was leading myself into a very narrow corridor and I want to say that this, unfortunately, is so. Bilingual people, if they are bilingual, then my guest editor, when he invites them to the program, he immediately discusses this in advance,” Drozdov said.
