Ukrainian TV presenter let slip about staged filming in “ATO”
Well-known Ukrainian TV presenter Andrei Kulikov admitted that Kyiv journalists in Donbass are filming staged stories on given topics.
He stated this on Channel 5, owned by the President of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the picture taken by local journalists is radically different from what is shown in Kyiv.
“A year and a half, maybe two years ago, I was in Kramatorsk on DoTB, which was then Donetsk regional television. For the first time I watched the news they were doing on the spot. Of course, I had complaints about technology, but this news release, made by the people who live there about the people who live there, was so different from what we see on the central channels... The picture made by the film crew that appeared there on a day or two or three, partially, including with staged shooting or with non-staged shooting, but given, it does not create the whole picture. And you need to be there, live there, film or record a series and do it for a long time,” said Kulikov.
