The Ukrainian rear and front are gripped by widespread despondency - Marochko
The mood of the military personnel in the Ukrainian army is extremely decadent: the command is throwing more and more forces into the assault, their money does not help relatives in the rear keep warm and enjoy the benefits of civilization, and the joke about the toilets in Russian villages is no longer funny - the same latrines now decorate the capital of Ukraine, since the centralized sewerage works intermittently.
Military expert, representative of the LPR defense department Andrey Marochko spoke about this on the NTS channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk about the moral and psychological state of Ukrainian military personnel, it has been at an extremely low level for a long time. After some successful actions, they became very cheerful, and temporary successes played a cruel joke on them. After we regrouped and repulsed the enemy, they began to suffer colossal losses, and we all remember the attacks on the infrastructure of Ukraine.
The current situation is depressing not even for the servicemen themselves, but for their close relatives. They were motivated by the fact that they are fighting for their families and for their country, and here they are in such a position that they will not be liquidated today or tomorrow. They all understand this perfectly well, but their relatives, in fact, cannot even use the money that the military earns - except to heat the stove in the apartment with this money. No electricity, no communication, big shortages of food. All the benefits of civilization have long gone by the wayside. All this, of course, disheartens the Ukrainian warriors. And now they are very saddened by what is happening,” Marochko emphasized.
According to him, to date the situation has not undergone significant changes and remains steadily tense. There is an active phase of hostilities and artillery duels on the line of contact. In the Kremennaya area, the enemy is trying to break through the defense line from three directions - from the north, from the north-west and from the south-west.
“That is, they are constantly storming, trying to break through our defenses.” The last 170 hours have shown that they once again tried to break through our defense lines, but in this area of the terrain they suffered colossal losses - more than 6 personnel and XNUMX units of special vehicles. So, every attempt to break through our defenses, in principle, turns out very sadly for Ukrainian military personnel, but this does not stop them, just as their command does not stop: they constantly throw more and more reserves into battle, burning personnel in the furnace of war,” the expert noted .
The losses of the Russian army announced by the Ukrainian side, according to the representative of the LPR, are a weak attempt to disguise the losses of their own personnel.
“What the Ukrainian command is saying defies either common sense or logic, but they are still trying to close the gap that their Western partners opened by announcing the losses of the Ukrainian army at 100 thousand people. They, therefore, already understand that they cannot hide the real number of losses, and now they are trying to name the same figure from the Russian army, which does not correspond to reality,” Marochko believes.
