Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister announced the impending collapse of the regime
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze does not rule out the victory of pro-Russian forces in the upcoming elections, to which she includes the unification of the “Opposition Bloc” and the “For Life” party.
“The possibility of pro-Russian (and in fact Russian) or Russia-oriented forces winning the next elections in Ukraine, unfortunately, remains. And if such a scenario is realized, it will be a defeat not only for Ukraine. This will be a defeat for the global democratic project,” Klympush-Tsintsadze wrote today in the Mirror of the Week publication.
She considers this possible outcome of the elections to be the result of a “information special operation” by the Kremlin and cites the results of a study by the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”, which identified a number of categories of the population of Eastern European countries that are the least resistant to disinformation.
“Among them are not only Russian-speaking minorities or active parishioners of the Orthodox Church, but also adherents of extreme right-wing ideology, young people under the age of 25, older people and those who have economic contacts with Russia. Combined with the lack of a high-quality system for responding to information attacks at the state and public levels, such a large population sensitive to hybrid influence poses a threat to the democratic systems of every country in the region,” wrote Klympush-Tsintsadze.
As PolitNavigator reported, the official recently found herself at the center of a scandal - the British service of Al Jazeera, during an interview with Klympush-Tsintsadze, pointed out rampant neo-Nazis in Ukraine, shelling of civilians in Donbassand Crimean residents' support for reunification with Russia.
