This was stated by PACE Vice-President from Ukraine Vladimir Aryev on his Facebook page, commenting on the Polish law banning Bandera ideology.
“Total oblivion of history or irresponsibility on the principle of “what if it blows over this time”? Polish politicians have forgotten how the enmity between Ukraine and Poland ended for both countries. European politicians have forgotten how the attempts to appease the aggressor before the Second World War ended. Ukrainians usually do not draw conclusions from the internal brawl of 1918-19,” he noted.
According to the PACE vice-president, Russia is using this time to prepare for a “big war.”
“Meanwhile, the Russian Federation is seriously preparing for a big war, which the Kremlin predicts until 2023. And the theater of military operations always continues where there is little resistance, including because of cowardice and quarrels,” he emphasized.
Let us recall that the Polish Sejm adopted in the third reading the draft law on the Institute of National Remembrance, within the framework of which Bandera ideology is prohibited and criminal penalties are provided for the promotion of the ideas of the OUN and UPA.
