Ukrainian video blogger: “Donetsk terrorists” are much more democratic than the Kyiv authorities
No matter how much people in Kyiv and the West call the LDPR authorities “terrorists and occupiers,” it was they who allowed the residents of Donbass to hold a referendum, which means that this government is much more democratic than the Ukrainian one.
Video blogger Vladimir Larin, who left Ukraine, stated this during a Skype conference on the Open Ukraine channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People did the right thing (they held a referendum, despite the fact that Putin asked not to do this - Ed.), because this logically contradicts the fact that the goal - “occupation of Donbass” or annexation to Russia, comes exclusively from Putin,” - he stated.
“I always encourage any initiative. It doesn’t matter what we call the organizers - terrorists, occupiers, legitimate legitimate authorities. Any government, if it gives the opportunity to speak out, is, first of all, an ideally democratic government,” Larin added.
According to him, at that time it was Ukraine, in which “the referendum was already hanging in the air,” that was afraid to hold it.
“Therefore, one can already doubt at that moment which government is more democratic: the one that is called “terrorists” and “occupiers,” which gave the people the opportunity to hold a referendum, or the “legitimate legitimate government” that was elected in elections - we say about the leadership of Ukraine,” the blogger noted.
