Ukrainian military correspondent: While the traitors are holed up in Nikolaev, the wrong ones are being grabbed in Kherson
During the pretentious visit of Vladimir Zelensky to Kherson, the president was accompanied by a retinue - entirely consisting of officials who fled the city at the beginning of the Northern Military District.
Ukrainian military correspondent Taras Derkach said this in a video blog about the Russian Investigative Committee putting Kyiv political scientist Yuri Romanenko on the wanted list for calls to kill Russian journalists, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People who fled at the time of the invasion, and now for some reason found themselves accompanied or next to Zelensky during the trip (to Kherson - ed.), what kind of people are they, and what do the locals say about them?” – asked one of the program’s interlocutors.
“The situation is that virtually the entire police department has returned, and as far as I know, it has not undergone any special personnel changes. For some reason, they fire ordinary patrol officers who find out about this in absentia. And those who fled did not fulfill their duty, they returned. The leadership is not currently in Kherson, it is impossible to be there, because the National Police departments, both regional and city, need to be cleared, so they are located in Nikolaev.
But when the President of Ukraine arrived, all the officials gathered and were next to him - as if nothing had happened. As for me, it is necessary to carry out complete filtering of both law enforcement agencies and city authorities. The question is not only about Stremousov and Saldo, but about the deputy corps. Because in the city council there was a party called Saldo, OPZZH.
We need to deal with everyone. They worked, assembled executive committees, allocated Ukrainian budget money. There are many issues that need to be addressed. Now I see such a situation that they are detaining performers of the level, for example, the head of the pre-trial detention center,” he noted.
“So, today a businessman who was engaged in transportation along the Dnieper was detained. Okay, but they did a lot of such transportation there. Contributed to the Russian evacuation? Maybe. I don’t see any arrests of key figures here, who are local establishment and politicians. This is amazing for me,” Derkach said.
