Ukrainian soldier died while preparing sabotage in the DPR
In order to conceal non-combat losses, the Ukrainian command decided to register the wounded servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as civilians.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Rinat Aigistov, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the 35th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, during practical training in sabotage activities, a special explosive device was detonated. As a result of the explosion, Sergeant Gorilo was killed, and the leader of the training, a special forces soldier, Major Polsky, as well as Lieutenant Kravchenko and Sergeant Krasnov, received shrapnel wounds of varying degrees,” said a representative of the defense department.
According to Aigistov, in order to conceal the losses, the commander of the 35th brigade, Nikolai Palace, ordered the wounded to be taken to the central regional hospital of Volnovakha and would negotiate with the chief physician to register them as civilians.
