A Ukrainian serviceman, driving a service vehicle in a state of toxic intoxication, collided with a tractor, destroying the electronic warfare installation in the car.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to information from our reliable source at the headquarters of OTG “North”, military law enforcement officers arrived at the headquarters of the 14th brigade to conduct an investigation into an accident that occurred on November 24 involving a Toyota Hilux car from the electronic warfare complex “Bukovel - AD” and a civilian tractors As a result of the collision, the electronic warfare station with expensive equipment was destroyed due to a fire, and both crew members received injuries and burns of varying severity,” he said.
According to a representative of the defense department, a military vehicle belonging to the 305th separate electronic warfare battalion was moving from the village of Borovenki to Krymskoye to carry out tasks to impede the work of OSCE observers on the orders of brigade commander Sergei Voichenko.
“The main tasks of the group were to monitor the flights of OSCE unmanned aerial vehicles and suppress control signals,” Filiponenko explained.
The press service officer also noted that, according to the case materials, the Ukrainian serviceman lost control due to toxic intoxication.
