Ukrainian volunteer spoke about the phenomenon of alcoholism in the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Rodion Grigoryan, a volunteer of the so-called ATO, who provides psychological assistance and conducts training for Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, spoke about this in an interview with Apostorof.
“Since the beginning of the ATO, the volunteer movement has undergone some changes. If earlier the task was to provide equipment and things, but now the army has uniforms, they are paid some kind of salary, in principle, if necessary, you can not buy yourself one or two bottles of vodka, maybe I’m exaggerating, this will cause indignation in some people, but, let's just say, everyone drinks. Some drink tolerably, others... well, we know about this phenomenon of alcoholism,” admitted the volunteer.
The problem of alcoholism among Ukrainian military personnel is also recognized by the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian military personnel who abuse alcohol are called “avatars,” placed in special sobering-up cells, and even forced to march along the parade ground with the chant “I won’t drink again.”
