The Ukrainian issue has been paused until May 9
In the near future, the leadership of the Russian Federation does not plan to solve problems in the Ukrainian direction.
The former head of the Israeli state institution Nativ, Yakov Kedmi, stated this on the ITON-TV Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Until May 9, nothing will change in Russia’s policy towards Ukraine... After May 9, and as a result of Surkov’s removal, we will witness a new Russian policy towards Ukraine. And then from this it will be possible to dance and try to make some kind of assessments. Even if there is a replacement [of Surkov], the real policy will not change until May 9.
It is very important for the Russian leadership that May 9 should be held as much as possible in an environment where there is support from the whole world. In this situation, they allow and try to ensure that no conflict in the world prevents someone from interfering with this main event of this and not only this year,” Kedmi said.
