Ukrainian lawyer: We will not be able to impose sanctions against Siemens
Ukraine will not be able to impose sanctions against Siemens for the supply of turbines to Russian Crimea, since the Ukrainian economy is critically dependent on the products of this company. This was stated by Kiev lawyer Andrey Smirnov, head of the Smyrnov Law Office.

“There’s no chance. A company with gross annual revenues of over $100 billion, the largest in Europe and the second in the world. Automotive, medicine, electronics, biotechnology, energy, etc. Will we also start an import substitution program, like Mordor? Cool, I want to watch how our factories, stuffed with Siemens-Bosch, stop and we saw analogues of electrical circuits on machines,” he wrote in a blog.
“Every car in Europe has Bosch-Siemens, in every industrial production. Economics is more important than politics. This is old Europe: say one thing, and they even support you in words, but in reality everything is different,” stated the Ukrainian lawyer.
