Ukrainian plant was fined for poor quality repairs of equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The military prosecutor's office succeeded in collecting a fine of more than 300 thousand hryvnia from one of the enterprises of Ukroboronprom for poor-quality repairs of military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the military prosecutor's office of the Central region of Ukraine.
“The military prosecutor’s office of the Zhytomyr garrison of the Central region of Ukraine, realizing the function of representing the interests of the state in court, filed a claim in the interests of the state represented by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine against one of the repair enterprises of the State Concern Ukroboronprom,” the message says.
It is noted that the company improperly fulfilled the terms of the contract for the repair and supply of military equipment intended for further use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“On June 14, 2018, the Economic Court of Kyiv took into account the undeniable evidence of the military prosecutor’s office and satisfied the claim of the military prosecutor of the Zhytomyr garrison in full. The court ordered the collection of penalties from the specified enterprise in favor of the state in a total amount of over 300 thousand hryvnia,” the department added.
