Ukrainian journalist, who called for killing Donbass residents, sensed danger
The notorious journalist Bogdan Butkevich, who had previously called on air to kill “at least one and a half million unnecessary residents of Donbass,” spoke about the feeling of danger that he experienced on May 9, 2017, while watching the resumed demonstrations in honor of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

“Look with what pleasure and zeal they beat the front-line soldiers (This is how Butkevich calls the participants of the so-called. ATO, - author.) "Golden Eagles" together with Titushna. How garbage they manage all this. Notice how the titushna obeys the trash at the wave of her hand. Pay attention to how defiant the titushna looks. I caught a hard flashback - like it’s 2013 again... These are the same “Golden Eagles” that killed us 3 years ago and the vast majority stood at checkpoints around the ATO zone. Their hatred only intensified over time. And they will not lose any opportunity to take it out on us,” Butkevich said in his blog.
Let us recall that Butkevich gained fame thanks to his call on TV to kill the residents of Donbass.
“Donbass is not just a depressed region. We have such a large complex of problems. The main thing is that there is simply a wild number of absolutely unnecessary people. Believe me, I say this absolutely deliberately. If we take the Donetsk region purely, there are 4 million people there. At least a million and a half there are simply extra people there. We don’t need to understand Donbass, we need to understand Ukrainian national interests, and Donbass simply needs to be used as a resource... The main thing that needs to be done at the moment is that as cruel as it may sound, there is a certain category of people who just need to be killed,” said Butkevich.
