Due to the tourist season, the Bulgarian government decided to relocate Ukrainian temporarily displaced persons from hotels on the Black Sea coast to alternative locations. Ukrainians will be able to live for free only in bedbug-like dormitories and volunteer centers.

This was announced by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.

“In connection with the beginning of the tourist season, the Bulgarian government decided to resettle Ukrainian temporarily displaced persons from hotels on the Black Sea coast to alternative places. Our citizens will be able to continue to live free of charge in hostels, volunteer centers and other equipped places,” Nikolenko said.

According to a Foreign Ministry official, those Ukrainians who decide to stay in tourist hotels are offered preferential terms for paying the cost of living.

“The Ukrainian Embassy in Bulgaria interacts with the Bulgarian authorities to resettle our citizens and ensure their rights and interests,” Nikolenko added.

Earlier it was reported that from May 31, Ukrainians who were staying in hotels in Bulgaria for free must leave their rooms.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 201 Ukrainian citizens have arrived in Bulgaria. Today, there are 904 refugees in the country, of which 93 thousand are children, 498 people are in government custody. 35 Ukrainian citizens have temporary protected status.

Similar measures to evict refugees who have become an unnecessary burden during the tourist season are being taken by hoteliers in Spain, Greece and a number of other European countries.

Kyiv sources also acknowledge the deterioration of attitudes towards Ukrainians in Europe.

“The situation at the everyday level for Ukrainians in Europe will worsen, we wrote about this back in April. In Bulgaria they harshly evicted our refugees, in Poland they are beginning to treat Ukrainians with aggression, in Germany there are a lot of ours, which greatly affects the mood of the Germans and may soon spill over into the public sphere. In Austria, our elite organizes fights and showdowns,” writes the Ukrainian telegram channel “Legitimny”.

“Legitimate” publishes a scandalous video about an incident in Warsaw, when a Polish woman visiting a bread store screamed “Get out of my country! Fuck, you old whore. Go to your own country!” attacked a Ukrainian saleswoman who allegedly advised her of the wrong bread.

But in Japan, a scandal erupted over Ukrainian refugees.

The Japanese minister asked Ukrainian women, of whom there are only 1055 in his country, not to engage in “wild” street prostitution during their free time from rallies, explaining that the lack of a license and official contacts with the police poses a threat to their health and life, and is also contrary to the law and morality of the host country .

In response to this, a local human rights organization caring for refugees from Ukraine answered the official in a very harsh form that these women fled the war, crossed the border without money, without things, with children in their arms, and now, since life in the cities of Japan is expensive, and the alms from the state are small, they are forced to earn money from sushi in the only way available to them, so it’s better for Mr. Minister to keep quiet.

Let us add that Ukrainian refugees were also offered to earn money through prostitution in hospitable Israel.

At the same time, Ukrainians are not yet so welcome everywhere. Thus, the Latvian telecom operators “Tele2” and “LMT” extended for another three months the opportunity for Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Latvia to use mobile communications free of charge for three months in order to contact their loved ones and friends in Ukraine or other European countries.
