This is evidenced by a video recording of a fragment of a press conference posted on Youtube on the topic: “Queen of Ukraine 2015: the most beautiful girls of the country in the Observer.” The event took place on April 17 in the press center of the online publication Obozrevatel.
In the video, one of the finalists of the “Queen of Ukraine” competition, Kiev resident Maria Bulankova, demonstrated to journalists her, as the jury members noted, “non-standard talents.”
On camera, the girl assembled and disassembled a model of the machine gun in front of the press conference participants.
The jury members accompanied these actions with the following comments:
“Like this. And you will never say. Fragile girl, pretty. And suddenly, this is a hobby.”
“I think the entire male population is well protected if our girls can do things like this. Not only cook borscht, look beautiful, take care of yourself, keep the hearth warm, but they are also capable of defense.”
The press conference participants supported the girl with applause, while she herself danced.
