Ukrainian peasants will be treated on TV and given electronic prescriptions
The Verkhovna Rada, with 258 votes, supported in the first reading presidential bill 7117 on increasing the availability of medical care in rural areas, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The bill provides for the introduction and development of e-health in rural areas, the use of telemedicine, and the issuance of electronic prescriptions; use of remote diagnostics. Providing healthcare institutions with medical equipment for initial examination, portable telemedicine diagnostic tools for remote collection and transmission of information on performance indicators (physiological parameters) of the patient’s body, mini-laboratories for taking tests, special equipment for proper storage of medicines and medical devices, as well as their transportation; provision of ultrasound, x-ray, dental and other equipment.
The bill proposes to consolidate the definition of telemedicine tools, which include telemedicine consultation, telemedicine consultation, telemetry, and home teleconsultation.
