Mikhail Volynets, Chairman of the Confederation of Free Trade Unions of Ukraine and the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The employer can now place single mothers on the night shift,” the trade union leader emphasized. “And with two reprimands, such a woman can now be fired.” It is very easy to earn a reprimand - since specialized medical institutions in the regions were destroyed, if a child is ill, a diagnosis must be made and the child must be taken to the region and asked to take time off. After this, she is reprimanded for absenteeism, and no one is interested in her children.
“The employer will also have the right to place single mothers who support disabled children on night shifts,” Volynets added. – Why mock people like that? Why don’t legislators, in times of crisis, think about how to make life easier for people, but want to make slaves out of them?”
