Some of the Ukrainian Navy sailors who participated in the provocation to break through the border of the Russian Federation, arrested for two months, were sent to the women's block of the Simferopol pre-trial detention center.

Correspondent of the liberal Novaya Gazeta Anton Naumlyuk writes about this in his blog. At the same time, he admits that the attitude towards the Ukrainian military in the pre-trial detention center is normal - other prisoners collected clothes, tea, and coffee for them.

“The Ukrainian sailors brought to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center, who were given a preventive measure yesterday, were placed in a “women’s block”, away from the prisoners, in several cells. That is, they are not found alone. In solidarity with them, the prisoners collected as much tea, coffee, and clothes for them as they could,” Naumlyuk said.
