Ukrainian schoolchildren will be forced to take an exam on the “Crimean occupation”
Ukrainian children must “clearly understand” who the eternal “aggressor” is, therefore, in history lessons in schools they will study the “illegal annexation” of Crimea by Russia.
The Minister of Education of Ukraine Liliya Grinevich stated this on air on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The illegal annexation of Crimea is a big historical fact that has already found its way into all textbooks on the modern history of Ukraine. This is an incredible precedent, and we consider it a complete violation of international law.
Of course, children who receive complete secondary education should know about this and clearly understand,” Grinevich snapped.
The official did not specify how the national Crimean referendum, in which more than 90% of the residents of the peninsula voted to return to Russia, will be presented in textbooks.
Let us remember that the day before Liliya Grinevich promised that Ukrainization of school education will affect Russian-speaking children the most.
