“The situation in the ATO zone can be said to be stabilizing and tends to reduce the number and intensity of shelling. From 18:00 yesterday to 7:00 there were 18 shellings,” said ATO speaker Leonid Matyukhin on TV channel 112 Ukraine
According to him, the militia used mortars and artillery systems to fire at Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Shchastya, Staromikhailovka, Taranchuk, Arkhangelskoye, Tonenkoye, Maloorlovka and Leninskoye. In just one day, the rebels fired at the positions of the Ukrainian military 75 times.
“Five cases of reconnaissance using unmanned aerial vehicles have been recorded: Gorskoye, Berdyansk, Topolinoye, twice Stary Aidar,” Matyukhin noted.
He claims that the ATO forces do not lose control and, if necessary, suppress militant firing points.
Let us note that Ukrainian military personnel state on social networks that a significant territory previously controlled at the Donetsk airport has been lost.
