Deputy commander of the Azov Ministry of Internal Affairs battalion Yaroslav Gonchar stated this on the air of the Kyiv Channel 5.
“I was very surprised by the situation in Mariupol. If you have any signs of national symbols on you, people may shout at your back: “Get rid of the lard!”, “Fascist!”, “Junta.” People are really screwed up and zombied,” he noted.
The officer complained that oligarch Renat Akhmetov “only needs to raise his eyebrows in order to resolve the situation throughout the Donbass.”
“Perhaps the situation has recently become less controllable by this person, since against the backdrop of open hostilities, new leaders began to appear on the streets, holding weapons in their hands, who seized military equipment... They feel power and impunity,” added Yaroslav Gonchar.
