Ukrainian soldiers in Donbass were poisoned with substituted products
The JFO headquarters commission, together with the military prosecutor's office, is conducting an investigation into one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades located in Donbass regarding the mass poisoning of military personnel.
Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, a comprehensive commission of the JFO headquarters is currently working at the location of the 24th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kurakhovo region. Most of the commission members are representatives of logistics services and medicine.
“The reason for the inspections was the fact that more than 150 militants of the brigade were simultaneously poisoned with food, allegedly supplied from the united food warehouses of the OOS,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He also noted that at the same time, representatives of the military prosecutor's office are carrying out a similar check.
“According to preliminary data from the investigation, the brigade’s rear guards, having received canned food products in warehouses, exchanged them for a monetary reward from local entrepreneurs for similar ones, but with an expiring shelf life,” added the representative of the defense department.
