“According to our operational information, militants continue to surround the Ukrainian armed forces near Debaltseve. The leadership of the DPR and LPR has set the task of completely closing and creating a “boiler”. This is the next key facility after the airport,” said former head of Ukrainian foreign intelligence Nikolai Malomuzh on Espresso.TV.
“We are bringing in new forces, equipment, special forces, and strengthening the contingent. In fact, there was an attempt to close the ring and hit the flanks,” the ex-intelligence officer emphasized.
He said that there is now a violent confrontation going on there. “There is now almost a balance between our forces and the enemy’s forces. To change the distribution of forces, you need to use new armored vehicles, artillery, and Grads. The prerequisites for unblocking and destroying the enemy are there, but it is necessary to plan a multifaceted operation using the entire arsenal of weapons,” Malomuzh concluded.
