Ukrainian military in Donbass will be settled in private houses taken away from their owners for debts
Ukrainian soldiers in the Joint Forces Operation zone are planned to be settled in empty private houses and houses taken away from owners who are in arrears for utilities.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko, announced this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that due to the low logistics of the Ukrainian army and the onset of unfavorable weather conditions, military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces simply have nowhere to live.
“According to available information, the “military-civil administration of the Lugansk region” has given orders to utility services to conduct inspections of private households for debt for utility services and long-term absence of owners. Once violations are identified, these houses are planned to be transferred to communal ownership with subsequent settlement by Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers,” said Andrei Marochko.
