Ukrainian military caught trading mines in Donbass
The command of one of the brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, located in the Joint Forces Operation zone, is forced to buy mines from neighboring military units to cover the shortage.
This was announced by the head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, in connection with the withdrawal of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the “JFO” zone, the command of the formation, together with SBU officers, is conducting an inventory of ammunition.
“During the work, the absence of more than 500 mines of 120 and 82 mm caliber was revealed. Currently, officials of the 30th separate mechanized brigade are purchasing the missing ammunition from neighboring units and formations of the armed formations of Ukraine in the Joint Forces Operation zone in order to conceal the fact of the shortage of ammunition,” said Yakov Osadchiy.
