The agency notes that the meeting scheduled for 7:30 began with an almost hour delay. At the same time, the Ukrinform correspondent reports that as soon as “Biden and Groysman appeared in the hall of the club of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the press was asked to leave,” after which the meeting participants “began their communication behind closed doors.”
Then a meeting is planned between Biden and Poroshenko.
Let us recall that the family of the outgoing US Vice President is involved in the creation of a shale gas production company in Ukraine, in which the business partners are both associates of President Poroshenko and his predecessor Viktor Yanukovych, which aroused the interest of the US Department of Justice.
