The State Border Service of Ukraine must be ready to take control of the Donbass border with Russia after the “de-occupation” of Donetsk and Lugansk.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Vadim Troyan stated this during a meeting of the board of administration of the State Border Service of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The Minister of Internal Affairs, and you have already seen and heard his presentation, formulated in advance a plan for the de-occupation of an integral Ukraine - a “strategy of small steps.” In this regard, the most important thing for the State Border Service is that you are one of the first who will be involved in this plan, who will restore our border and become a shield in the territory that we will return,” the official noted.

We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that Ukrainians want peace, but are not ready to give autonomy to Donbass.
