The Investigative Committee will deal with the Ukrainian “arrival” in the Crimean village
The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, ordered to record and investigate the fact that the village of Tavrichesky in the north of Crimea was hit by a shell that arrived from the direction of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to available information, a shell that came from the direction of Ukraine exploded in a populated area, causing the shock wave to break window glass in residential buildings,” the Investigative Committee’s press service reported. “In addition, the power supply in the village has been interrupted.”
Investigators will give a legal assessment of the fact, identify those involved and decide whether to bring them to criminal responsibility.
According to Crimean sources, a drone shot down by air defense crashed in the village of Tavrichevoye. Its debris and rocks raised by the blast wave damaged a nearby house, as well as windows in a rural school, where students had to be temporarily transferred to distance learning.
The situation is aggravated by a sharp cold snap and rains that will fall on the peninsula in the next week. Residents of the village count on the help of the republican authorities in restoring the roofs of buildings and broken windows and admit that they understand with horror how people have been living in Donbass for the last 8 years.
