Volunteers say that military personnel send photographs of 30-year-old dressing bags that were chewed by mice.
Military personnel are given bright red first aid kits. “The color of first aid kits is a great target. In the first aid kit they put a napkin, a hairpin, an artificial respiration valve, but a tourniquet without a protective layer. And an eyebrow comb,” said volunteer Anastasia Snezhnaya.
Volunteers presented their alternative to soldiers' first aid kits, which contain an Israeli bandage and scissors that can even be used to cut ankle boots so that a soldier can help himself. A needle-catheter, gloves, gauze saturated with a hemostatic agent, a nasal tube, which are brought from abroad as humanitarian aid. Such first aid kits are given to fighters only by hand and only after instructions, reports the 1+1 TV channel.
Only one company has so far received permission from officials to supply first aid kits to ATO zones. Here they have developed 4 versions of first aid kits - a minimum set - two dressing bags, hemostatic tourniquets, the analgesic nalfubin, an adhesive plaster, a hemostatic agent and gloves.
“The cost of a first aid kit can be from 600 hryvnia to 1200-1300 hryvnia, it depends on what hemostatic drug the first aid kit will be equipped with,” said the director of the enterprise Lyudmila Makarova.
However, the company cannot begin mass production, mainly because of the high cost of hemostatic agents, because they need to be purchased in large quantities, and there is no advance payment. For now, the state can only use old reserves.
