Ukrainian teachers have their salaries delayed and cut without explanation
Kyiv, March 02 (PolitNavigator, Vasily Ablyazimov) – In Kyiv and Zaporozhye, teachers received 200-500 UAH lower salaries on their cards without announcing any reasons, the newspaper reports “NEWS" The payment of “children’s” money was also delayed.

“In January, teachers in Kyiv received a salary without a municipal bonus, which is 20%, which, depending on the length of service, can range from 300 to 500 UAH,” the newspaper writes. The management promised to return all the money towards the next salary.
A similar situation occurred in Zaporozhye, where, without announcing any reasons, teachers received 200 UAH less than usual on their cards. Management also promises to reimburse everything next month.
“We just received an amount on our cards that was 200 UAH less than it should have been. We asked the director what was causing this, but we didn’t receive any clear answer; we weren’t even promised to return the money in our next salary,” says Marina, a teacher at a Zaporozhye school.
In Kyiv, social payments for child care were also delayed. “Usually they are paid before the 15th, but there is still no February money, and no one explains anything,” Kiev resident Elena tells the publication.
Minister of Social Policy Pavel Rozenko claims that these are isolated cases that will be resolved. The delay in payments may be due to a budget financing crisis.
