Narcologists will deal with Ukrainian military personnel in Donbass
It was decided to send a group of narcologists and psychologists to one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in the JFO area, to combat the rampant drunkenness and drug addiction that reigns in the unit.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, in connection with regular cases of violation of military discipline and crimes against civilians, a commission from the JFO headquarters arrived at the units of the 14th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“During the work of the commission, it was established that the main causes of offenses are the use of alcoholic beverages, and therefore a decision was made to send groups of psychologists and narcologists to the unit to carry out preventive work among military personnel regarding the harm of consuming alcoholic beverages and narcotic substances,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
He also added that a high level of alcohol consumption is also observed in other units of the Ukrainian armed forces.
“According to sources in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there is a massive consumption of alcoholic beverages by servicemen of the 54th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in anticipation of the upcoming withdrawal from the Joint Forces Operation zone. The militants sabotage the orders of their commanders and remain intoxicated around the clock, motivating this by their imminent departure to their permanent deployment point,” noted a representative of the defense department.
