The Ukrainian-Hungarian border is turning into a new hot spot
Attempts by Ukrainian nationalists to desecrate the Hungarian flag, which they tore from the administration of the border town of Berehove on November 12, could lead to the ignition of another hotbed of war on the border with Ukraine.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Oleynik stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The current Kiev neo-Nazi regime is doing everything to provoke wars and interethnic conflicts along the entire perimeter of Ukraine’s borders. Which, as we know from history, very often begin with the desecration of symbols.
On November 12, in the Transcarpathian city of Berehovo, populated predominantly by ethnic Hungarians, representatives of the neo-Nazi Svoboda attempted to tear down and burn the Hungarian flag. This time the neo-Nazis were prevented by the police, who took away and returned the flag. However, no one guarantees that attempts to desecrate Hungarian symbols will not be repeated and this will not only provoke a response, but another “hot spot” may arise in Ukraine in addition to Donbass,” Oleynik said.
Let us recall that earlier the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Peter Szijjártó, demanded a reaction from the Ukrainian authorities to the fact that in the Transcarpathian region, participants in a march on the occasion of the anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian nationalist organization “Carpathian Sich” removed and tried to burn the Hungarian flag from the building of the Beregovo City Council.
