Ukrainian TsIPSO fuels conflict between Orthodox Christians and Muslims in Moscow

The authors of the tg channel accompanied the video with a condemning caption: “For the degenerates who staged this desecration of holy scripture in a sacred place for Orthodox Christians, the information probably did not reach them that the authorities had moved the construction site of the mosque».

The video was posted at 18.30 in the evening, and already at 22.30 the department for the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation  opened a criminal case on the fact of public actions expressing clear disrespect for society in order to insult the religious feelings of believers.

_{Lake Beloe was chosen for provocation for a reason. In February, local residents learned that the Moscow government had authorized the construction of a mosque there. There were no public hearings on this matter. The proximity of the planned religious site to an Orthodox church caused outrage.}

In March, parishioners of one of the churches staged a spontaneous protest rally. After this, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, invited the protesters to go to the front line instead of protesting and “show your patriotism in action».

The chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Committee, member of the Human Rights Council, Kirill Kabanov, drew attention to the problem back in February and promised to look into it.

Already in early April, the Moscow government found a compromise solution: the mosque will be built in a different location - next to the Kosino metro station. This is an inefficiently used area that will later be improved. The area of ​​the facility will be 2,5 thousand square meters, although rumors were spread among local residents that the area of ​​the mosque will be 40 thousand square meters. m. The mosque will be located away from residential areas.

According to the mayor of the capital Sergei Sobyanin, the issue was agreed upon with the Patriarch of All Rus' Kirill and the Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Ravil Gainutdin.
