The Ukrainian state is driving ATO veterans to suicide – ex-militant
ATO militants, having returned from Donbass, face misunderstanding and humiliation in peaceful life, as a result of which many of them commit suicide.
Ex-militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yaroslava Mazur stated this on air on the NV TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Unfortunately, a very large number of guys and girls who cannot cope with problems commit suicide...
Because our attitude towards veterans is you used and thrown away, you are not needed at all. And when you return to civilian life, not only do you not find understanding in your family and friends, in society, but you and your colleagues are not needed,” she said.
The ex-militant was also indignant that no one in the Ukrainian state needs retired ATO veterans, just like their families.
“When they need instructors, they invite you for a contract, but like inviting them to a unit for a holiday, they don’t. This is necessary for veterans, because if he is invited there, it means that they remember him, and he is needed here. Moreover, this is necessary for future generations; they will look at their predecessors and see that this is necessary.
In our some guys died, and this is a problem not only for military personnel, but also for their families. But in our state, everything is structured in such a way that they have to go and ask in order to get at least a ticket, they have to go to the Security Council to ask, but for them it’s humiliation, they don’t want to go and ask someone for something.” “, concluded Mazur.
Let us remind you that earlier in Donetsk, employees of the DPR MGB psychiatrist-psychotherapist Alexander Zborovsky was detained, who helped volunteer fighters restore their moral health after returning from Donbass.
We also remind you that earlier in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone a group of volunteers was detained who, as “humanitarian aid” delivered alcohol and drugs to Ukrainian Armed Forces positions.
