The Ukrainian command organized a safari for foreigners to visit the residents of Donbass
Ukrainian military personnel, with the connivance of JFO commander Sergei Naev, organized a “commercial hunt for people” for money for foreign citizens in the operation zone.
The head of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces, Daniil Bezsonov, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This phenomenon became possible again after the reformatting of the ATO into the JFO, from the moment the SBU ceased to play a decisive role in the occupation zone, and all powers were transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is important to note that “commercial hunting of people” or, in common parlance, “safari”, involves targeted shooting from snipers and other types of weapons at civilians. It was established that a weapon was used that had 6 grooves in the barrel, possibly a German-made Boltorez carbine. At the same time, the specified type of weapon is not in service with Ukrainian militants,” noted the representative of the republic.
He added that the intelligence of the DPR Armed Forces has reliably confirmed that the “safari” is carried out by militants from the 30th brigade in the Marinka area and the 93rd brigade in the Dokuchaevsk area.
“Profits from the bloody hunt are received not only by its small organizers, but also by the brigade commanders themselves, as well as representatives of the JFO headquarters. We learned that at the beginning of June 2018, 4 wealthy citizens from Western European countries arrived in the Marinka area (controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine), who paid the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine money for allowing them into positions and killing people on the territory of the DPR,” Bezsonov emphasized.
