According to a document dated April 11, the Ministry of Sports no longer prohibits, but only does not recommend traveling to competitions in Russia, and also refuses to finance attendance at such competitions. The previous decree on the ban dated March 14 was declared invalid.

Earlier, PolitNavigator reported that the Wrestling Association decided that Ukrainian wrestlers will participate in the European Championship, which will be held in Russia from April 29 to May 7. This decision was made because non-participation would entail consequences for Ukrainian athletes.
