Ukrainian education produces personnel for strawberry plantations – lawyer
Ukrainian school textbooks contain sad lies about the history of Ukraine and the events of recent years.
Former Minister of Justice of Ukraine Elena Lukash stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian education does not guarantee a normal future for our children. The state it is in now is for strawberry plantations in other countries.
I take my ten-year-old child’s textbook, and for some reason it says (why even talk about this?) that the Association Agreement is an excellent document that guaranteed Ukraine’s accession to the EU. I almost choked on my tea.
As a person who participated in its development, promotion and even initialing, I can say that it does not contain a single guarantee of accession to the EU. There is not even a hint of approaching the EU.
The Europeans forbade us to raise this issue. But our children are told these sad lies about the history of Ukraine, about the documents it signed, about the events of recent years.
And this lie exists at public expense. Poroshenko’s educational reform is continued by Zelensky. His team voted for a law dividing Ukrainian children into three classes - Ukrainian-speaking, speaking the languages of EU countries and others, i.e. Russian-speaking. This is the worst thing,” the lawyer warns.
