Ukrainian society rejected the ban on Russian channels and social networks
The majority of Ukrainian citizens do not support the ban on Russian TV channels, social networks and films.
This is stated in the results of a study conducted by the Kyiv International Center of Sociology in February of this year, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Ukrainians also did not support the ban on tours by Russian artists.
“44% do not support the ban on Russian TV channels (support – 37%), 46% do not support the ban on Russian social networks (support – 30%), 53% do not support the ban on individual artists and Russian films (support – 29%),” says in the message.
The respondents also did not like quotas for the Ukrainian language on radio and TV channels: “The introduction of quotas for the Ukrainian language on radio and TV is supported by 33% of Ukrainians, and 43% do not support it.
The survey involved 2043 people from 110 settlements of Ukraine in all regions, with the exception of the Russian Crimea and the Donbass republics
