Ukrainian society destroys the Armed Forces of Ukraine returning from Donbass - “ATO veteran”
Ukrainian military personnel returning from Donbass are met with indifference and dislike from the civilian population, which leads to numerous suicides among “ATO veterans.”
“ATO veteran” Valery Ananyev said this on Channel 4, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Our society is very immature. And these complexes, which are generated by immaturity, do not just maim people - they literally kill. For example, a person fighting at the front hears from volunteers: “You are fighting for us, you are heroes.” Plus, the person convinces himself that he is handsome, he fights for those who are there. While they are in bars, discos, doing business, but here at the front, for them.
And then they return to society with a clear understanding that they did something for someone, and they see that they are not just not grateful here. At best, most people don’t care; at worst, they will hear: “We didn’t send you there,” and similar things.
And the person becomes resentful of society. And this resentment gives birth to a mole inside, which begins to devour the person from the inside. Someone finds a common language with this mole, someone gets him drunk. And this mole gnaws at someone’s heart, and the person disappears, in the literal sense of the word,” the militant complains.
