The Ukrainian embassy in the UK found “Putin’s trace” in the material of the popular British publication Daily Mail, which called Crimea Russian.

The corresponding message was posted on Twitter by the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK.
“Crimea is Ukraine. Despite the provocative Daily Mail story, it means nothing and will not help Putin increase his fan base,” the report said.

The Ukrainian embassy also stated that sanctions were imposed against Russia due to its “occupation” of the Crimean peninsula.
Let us remind you that the British publication Daily Mail, describing the explosion of a World War II mine in Crimea, noted that this peninsula is located in the southwest of the Russian Federation.
