The Ukrainian government does not skimp on the “Wall” project: millions of euros have been allocated to fence off Russia
Kyiv, October 08 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Government of Ukraine has decided to allocate an additional 6 million euros for the improvement of the state border under the “Wall” project.

Previously, 235 million hryvnia were allocated for the improvement of the state border. The total amount of funds will be 66 million euros, “which will make it possible to develop a section of the state border between Ukraine and the Russian Federation,” the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk also noted that a key element in the implementation of the peace plan is the restoration of control over the border: “They closed the border - then there is no supply of Russian military, Russian equipment, weapons and terrorists. An open border means that the implementation of the peace plan is impossible. This is the key element. Russia signed up for this, and it must fulfill it.”
“We, as the Ukrainian side, are ready to ensure control over the state border of Ukraine if the Russian army does not shoot Ukrainian border guards,” says Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
