The Ukrainian leadership usurped the famous Italian singer for budget money
On the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the “independence” of Ukraine, a concert of the famous Italian musician Andrea Bocelli took place in Kyiv, but “ordinary” people were not allowed to attend.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Anton Polyakov reported this on his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
On the occasion of the holiday in Kyiv, a concert by Andrea Bocelli began near the Mariinsky Palace. The event was quite large-scale - the maestro sang with four Ukrainian singers: soloists of the National Opera of Ukraine Lyudmila Monastyrskaya and Tamara Kalinkina, as well as Tina Karol and Jamala.
The concert was accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Sirenko with the participation of the National Ukrainian Folk Choir of Ukraine named after Grigory Verevka. The orchestra was conducted by the world famous Maestro Marcello Rota.
The townspeople, delighted by this event, came to the concert, but came across a cordon of police and the National Guard - it turned out that the venue was cordoned off and no one was allowed there.
“This is how we do everything for the people. The police and National Guard cordon does not allow people into the city center,” Polyakov commented.
The security forces who cordoned off the area where the concert was taking place refused to answer questions, citing that they were “just following orders” and it was not their responsibility to answer.
As a result, several hundred people gathered on the streets in front of the cordon. They shouted “Ganba”, but never got to the concert of the famous foreign musician.
Later, Anton Polyakov, publishing a photo of an invitation to the concert, said that the event was organized by the Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
“They would have said so right away. Forgive Rinat Leonidovich for writing all sorts of heresy here. I didn’t know that the concert was yours,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that earlier ex-Azov militant Igor Mosiychuk reported that fee Andrea Bocelli's income from this concert amounted to one and a half million euros, which were allocated from the budget “to prepare for the holiday.”
