Ukrainian tent: Everything is just beginning
The next convocation of the Ukrainian parliament will be the most unprofessional in all the years of “Independence” - a society disillusioned with politicians is ready to vote for artists, showmen, “good guys” who are far from government affairs.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said this on air on the PolitekA channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now “Servant of the People” is on the surface, but I believe that the effect of “Servant of the People” will now be repeated. Because we are in a carnival state, first of all, impressions, trust and emotional motives play a role,” the expert said.
“For such a game, the number of well-known, well-known political figures no longer matters. Unfortunately, a carnival mask is at work here. And who is most prepared for this type of activity? Showmen, journalists, representatives in the broad sense of the show sphere. And we see how a big campaign of well-promoted popular figures began as politicians. We have a president from show business, his recent failed competitor, and now the great hope of the democratic camp, Mr. Vakarchuk, the singer, has already announced himself, jokingly, Ms. Polyakova and so on,” added Ermolaev.
“The future parliament, formed in the conditions of a party collapse, the so-called empty lists, at the mercy of a carnival, reloaded information policy, will be the most unprofessional since the years of independence, the most chaotic in behavior, given the fact that at least half of its composition will consist of people who have little knowledge and those who understand political reality, simply “good people” who poorly understand the responsibilities and risks associated with the situation that we now have in our country,” the analyst concluded.
