Ukrainian blogger was almost banned for a Russophobic film
Ukrainian blogger Alexander Rykov received a warning from YouTube when he tried to upload a film by Belarusian Russophobe director Yuri Khaschevatsky, “This Crazy Crazy Crazy Russian World,” to his channel.
The blogger spoke about this during his interview with the director, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When I posted the film “This Crazy Crazy Crazy Russian World” on the channel, I received the following paper from YouTube: ay-ay-ay, red badge, 18+. How do you offend Russians, inciting ethnic hatred. Now we will show the Russian Orthodox Church,” Rykov said.
Khaschevatsky was indignant.
“This is a stupid YouTube policy. They, like an ostrich, bury their head in the sand very often, not realizing that there was no Russophobia there. What was filmed there is Russophobia in itself. It is what it is,” said the director.
