Ukrainian MP was outraged by policemen with painted faces
Ukrainian border guards at the Kyiv airport greeted delegations of the Real Madrid and Liverpool football clubs with their faces painted in the colors of the teams.
This fact outraged the people's deputy from the Opposition Bloc, Igor Shurma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How can they respect Ukraine? Yesterday the Real Madrid team arrived, a world famous team. People with fortunes who have seen everything in the world. Our border guards are standing with their faces painted in the colors of the club. Tomorrow a team from Africa will come to us and are you going to put rings in your nose and ears and wear straw instead of shorts?” the people’s deputy complains.
“What are we turning into?” asks Shurma rhetorically.
