The promise to negotiate peace with Donbass is becoming one of the main election slogans in Ukraine, but those politicians who begin real negotiations with the LDPR may face prison upon returning to Kyiv.
Participants in a talk show on the TVC channel came to this opinion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There are a lot of politicians who are talking about direct negotiations with Donbass. They were given the go-ahead to do this, they are not beaten, they are not thrown into trash bins. That is, they say this in order to earn some political points and draw back votes. Why didn’t any of these politicians even try to come to Donbass and talk to local politicians there? There is an example. Savchenko came and talked!” – said the head of the News-Front information agency Konstantin Knyrik.
