Ukrainian soldier was shot for trying to go over to the side of the LPR
Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire and wounded their colleague in the “soft tissues in the pelvic area,” who, tired of the beatings from the commander, tried to secretly cross the front line and go over to the side of the LPR.

“The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to cynically hide their non-combat losses, trying to evade responsibility for the wounding of their subordinates, and presenting them as resulting from shelling from our positions, accusing the LPR NM of violations of the agreements reached.
So, we learned that Private Golovko, driven to despair by constant bullying from the command staff and colleagues, decided to follow example of serviceman 1st brigade private Taranenko and go over to the side of the People's Militia.
After waiting time and taking advantage of the lack of control, Golovko crawled towards the positions of the LPR NM. After some time, the serviceman was discovered by an observer of the 3rd battalion of the 92nd mechanized brigade in the area of the settlement of Novozvanovka, and on the instructions of the senior man at the post, it was decided to open fire in the direction of Golovko and prevent the possibility of his crossing. As a result of the shooting, the serviceman received a soft tissue injury in the pelvic area,” the report says.
The department emphasized that the immediate commander of the shot soldier tried to hide this incident from the command, and, as a result, no investigation was launched.
“Due to Commander Khomchak’s presence in the Joint Forces Operation zone and fear for his future career, the company commander decided to present this fact as an injury as a result of shelling from the positions of the LPR NM. The serviceman, under the threat of physical harm from his relatives, was ordered to voice his version of the shelling and forget his attempt to cross. At the moment, the serviceman is in a hospital in the city of Chasov Yar.
It is noteworthy that the commission, which was located in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone for inspections, did not conduct any investigations into this fact, sitting in the headquarters offices, believing the explanation presented,” summed up the Donbass defenders.
