In Ukraine, regional health departments and state administrations ignore medical reform.

Oleg Berezyuk, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Samopomich party, stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Misinformation and misinformation are rampant in the medical industry as well. Unfortunately, regional health departments and regional state administrations are not engaged in medical reform, which discredits it. In the Kherson, Zaporozhye and Nikolaev regions there is a shortage of 40 to 60% of primary care doctors. With whom to sign agreements? Who's talking about this? Doctors themselves are misinformed. And sometimes you are the first person to tell them about the essence of the reform in two years. The medical industry in Ukraine has two or three years left if today we don’t do those things that lead to its restoration,” the deputy said.
