Ukraine has received the right to supply domestic chicken to the Japanese market, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported to the State Food and Consumer Service.
“The competent authorities of Ukraine and Japan have agreed on an international veterinary certificate for the export of poultry meat from Ukraine to Japan,” the government agency said in a statement.
In 2018, Albania, Ghana, Hong Kong, Morocco and Tunisia also opened markets for Ukrainian chicken, and in June 2019, Qatar.
At the same time, only two Ukrainian producers today have the right to export chicken to EU countries - Myronivsky Hliboproduct and Pan Kurchak. “Mironovsky Hoeboproduct” belongs to the agricultural oligarch Yuri Kosyuk.
